Stewardship, Generosity, and Giving at First Church of God
Psalm 126:3 declares , “The LORD has done great things for us, and we are filled with joy.” Your love for God and for people is the fuel to deliver the message of hope and to build the Kingdom of God. One of the most basic practices of the Christian faith is Stewardship. It begins with the awareness of the wonderful gifts that God has given to us in our lives and then responds with giving and generosity in return. Stewardship is not duty as much as it is thanksgiving.
Something unique and significant is happening at First Church of God. We are inviting new people, engaging in new ministries of learning with youth and adults, representing new forms of worship, and leading ministries of compassion and service in Gary Indiana and beyond.
