Children Ministry convenes on the second and the third Sunday of each month during Morning Service. The attendance of the program ministers to children ranging from the ages of seven through thirteen. While in children church, many activities and programs are being practiced to prepare them for regular service. Activities that partake in children ministry include scripture readings, songs, Christian related videos and other related projects that focus on faith, temptations, courage and gratitude. Children Ministry teaches the youth of the church the importance of tithing and owning their own Bible.
The following activities are a normal part of the ministry:
- Ice skating or snow sledding
- Black History presentation in the fellowship Hall
- Pastor anniversary presentation in the Fellowship Hall
- Easter Egg Hunt after church
- Camping trips
- Bake sales
- Great America Amusement Park Trips
- Children Ministry graduation
- Pumpkin patch trip in October
- Circus trips
- Christmas Caroling
- Christmas program
The Children Ministry will make a special effort to contact incarcerated members, alcohol & substance abuse victims, military personnel, sick and shut-in members, homeless members, and college students.
