encouragementThe Encouragement Ministry is a new ministry that was introduced to our church in 2008.  This ministry was established to uplift and nourish our congregation by sending out cards to encourage the members on our sick and shut-in list, special occasions, missing U in Church, welcome visitation and announcements.  Sending unexpected cards from the Church have increased the churches attendance by 30%.  The members press their way out, not only for Sunday service, but for Bible Study as well.  Last year a total of 794 cards in a seven month period (April-October) were sent out.  In the year 2009 more will be sent to address many concerns.
