Prayer for the New Year 2022

Heavenly Father, thank you for allowing us to see the beginning of the 2022 New Year.  As we step out into the unknown future, we pray that You will continue to be with us.  We ask that you lead us, guide us, teach us, and draw us closer to Thee and to each other. Thank You that Your steadfast love never ceases, and Your mercies are new every morning… great is Your faithfulness, O Lord.

Heavenly Father, we know that these times in which we live are becoming fraught with difficulties and increasing stress. Yet, our hope is in You, Father God, for You are our faithful God, Who promised to never leave us nor forsake us. God, as we step onto the threshold of a new year, with its inevitable problems and pain, we place our hands into Yours, Lord.   We trust You to lead us into the future that is routed in Christ.  Renew, repair, and revive our hearts, and let us dwell in Your Divine protection! 

As we step into the unknown future, help us to put on the whole armor of God and the breastplate of righteousness, so that we can live victoriously in this new year.  In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen and Amen!
